Vineyard Inspired Wedding at Saugatuck Harbor Yacht Club - Stephanie & Gerard

A perfect summer day! Stephanie and Gerard wed at the Saugatuck Harbor Yacht Club in Westport, CT.

Stephanie and Gerard met in February 2020 in New Jersey. Their love grew throughout the pandemic and they decided to get married in Connecticut where Stephanie grew up.

Stephanie and Gerard wanted their wedding to be vineyard inspired including rich burgundies, blushy rose, and creamy whites.

It was one of the hottest days of summer and a pesky thunderstorm was looming about all day. The couple ultimately decided to hold the ceremony under the tent to keep guests dry and comfortable.

We really dressed up their ceremony chuppah to be a dramatic focal piece. Lush greenery vine, blush chiffon and garden roses framed the couple beautifully in their photos and despite the weather, made the tent feel extra special.

The couple had both a priest and rabbi officiating their Christian/Jewish ceremony. They were married underneath a traditional chuppah and before the ceremony signed a katubah, or marriage contract.

The reception had lots of little touches to their vineyard theme including a custom welcome sign that resembled a private label wine as well as table markers named after their favorite vintages.

This was the first wedding held at Saugatuck Harbor Yacht Club. The Club boasts beautifully manicured lawns and a fun outdoor space by the docks to watch the sunset.
