Lake of Isles has a quiet, intimate lakeside feel, but with the amenities of being part of the Foxwoods Resort next door. Our experience with Lake of Isles staff was one of the best we’ve ever had with a vendor and Meghan and James definitely agreed it was one of the reasons they decided to get married there.

Meghan loves blue hydrangea and as the epitome of summer she dressed her bridesmaids in a very similar cornflower blue.

Creating their ceremony arch by the lake was so serene. Normally there can be a lot of hustle and bustle on wedding days but I quietly crafted their wedding arch next to the calmest lake water; there were ducks and fish bobbing around in the water. It was picturesque.

It’s definitely more rare for me to work first with the groom rather than the bride. But I so appreciate when partners get involved in the flower and decor process.

Meghan and James were able to use our lanterns as their centerpieces in order to keep costs down. They are an economical choice that gives a big impact on the table.

Fountainhead Floral Design was very responsive and took everything we said to create the perfect wedding flowers. The combination of hydrangeas and white roses looked amazing. The floral arrangement on the arbor really put everything together. The bouquets were tightly packed like we wanted and looked perfect. We loved getting the vision board. It was very clear on what kind of flowers and colors to expect.
