Love is in the air! March can be harsh here in Connecticut, and Ashley and Mike’s wedding day started out pretty cold and damp. They were married under Great River’s beautiful patio and then the clouds cleared and they had the most gorgeous golden light for their pictures.
Ashley's bouquet was a stunning mix between elegant and natural.
Ashley and Mike had a romantic start, as they met a friend's wedding. They were really excited to plan their own wedding and make it unique to them.
Ashley wanted to keep the color palette very neutral and clean, but with some subtle nods to spring. We were able to incorporate some beautiful cream ranunculus, tuberose, and daffodils to achieve this soft early spring feel.
We loved the hanging neon sign in their reception space. We added some crisp greenery to soften it and create a killer backdrop for their sweetheart table.
We brought along bunches of italian ruscus and ferns to decorate their mirrored seating chart and other tables in the front entrance. I think adding greenery and votives around your photos and gift table really elevates the moment. It makes people stop and take notice.
There are so many beautiful delicate flowers available this time of year; we really had so much to choose from. I wish more brides would choose March!
