Natalia & Marc were wed on an August day at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, CT. The Wadsworth mansion is grand and elegant and Natalia and Marc wanted to whisk their guests away to a magical time and place. The stunning landscaping and grounds make for the perfect photo moments.
This wedding day started very very beautifully but then a very heavy, gusty wind came through which gave the team and I some difficulty keepingĀ the ceremony decor in place. Despite weights and anchored supports, the floating arch fell over several times before the ceremony began. Needless to say, it still came out beautiful and I held my breath the whole time watching from behind some bushes.
My favorite spot at the wedding was the custom lettered mirror which greeted the guests to mansion and was accented at the base with a little growing āgardenā of flowers and an adorable basket of parasols. I happened to be working on this while some family members were coming in and I was so happy with all the āooohsā and āahhhsā
The couples pup Jackson was the star of the show on the wedding day, greeting guests and vendors alike. He also served as best dog/ring bearer.
Natalia wanted to make a nod to Marcās French heritage and stick with a palette that Marie Antoinette would envy. Soft, feminine pinks, lavender, and blue tones were used throughout to give guests the feeling of being in a french garden.
Natalia had purchased some very unique slim candelabras with an āSā shaped base. This posed a bit of challenge as she wanted to add some florals but didnāt have a lot of set-up time to execute it at the venue. What we came up with were some tiny little flower islands that easily slid between the bases
