Bright & Breezy Summer Garden I Dos - Lisa & Alex

Lisa and Alex were married at The Owenego Beach Club.

Lisa and Alex are a pair of pandemic lovers who love their dogs, travel, and New England summers spent out in the garden.

This was a sizzling July day at the Owenego Beach Club. Members flocked to the club on a hot day to sit in the shady lawn and cool off from the ocean breeze.

Lisa’s bouquet is one of my all time favorites. She gave me a lot of creative freedom with the color palette and flower choices and I think it gave her a really unique design that suits her fun, bubbly personality. 

The couple chose light blush pink for the bridesmaids and linen suits for the guys for a relaxed, casual feel. Lisa is a gardener herself and wanted to highlight bright, juicy hues for her flowers.

Using lime greenery is one of my favorite ways to add a summery feel to floral designs. We utilized different ferns, bupleurum and pennycress to bring out the bright colors of the flowers.
