The color palette was very muted with just delicate moments of soft pink, yellow and green representing springs earliest blooms.

Mystic Yachting Club is a smaller, more intimate venue but the beautiful natural wood details, grand oversized windows and wraparound deck make it a beautiful choice for a spring wedding.

My favorite element was their floating arch for the ceremony. There are only certain weeks of the year that we can use fresh, local tree blossoms and these apple blossom branches made the perfect base for their organic arch. It was delicate and soft and gave life to an overcast day.

With many alumni in attendance, there was even an appearance by legendary Jonathan the Husky himself. This was extra special as their wedding happened just a short time after Men’s Basketball won the NCAA championship.
