Sarita & Andrew’s Elegant Italian Villa Wedding at Eolia Mansion

Sarita taking in the view in awe

Sarita and Andrew have a meet-cute love story where Sarita was his waitress at a Providence restaurant and the two hit it off right away.

A stunning September day! The gardens were bustling with visitors admiring the grounds. Kites were flying overhead with a cool breeze blowing through the mansion.

The couple wanted their wedding to have a european elegance and the historic Eolia Mansion is like being transported to an Italian villa. From the sunken gardens to the stately columns of the pergola and architectural details inside, it was the perfect canvas to execute their design.

The bridesmaids wore crisp olive green which so stunningly matched the natural backdrop of the venue. Sarita incorporated pops of olive in the reception area as well with silk napkins.

For the ceremony urns we really wanted to focus heavily on greenery. It was so fun putting together a mix of local greens with different textures. Everything from eucalyptus to forsythia,  euphorbia, grevillea, and pittosporum. The design needed just a few delicate spray roses for the finishing touch.

Lighting all the candles while the guests are at the ceremony and the mansion is quiet is one my favorite things. Seeing the tables come together was so special.

I was really intentional with the flower choices for this wedding because there was so much focus on green. We paired white calycina heather with garden roses and delicate white tweedia for the centerpieces for a really elegant look. These tulip vases are my new favorites as well and they really added to the Italian villa vibes.
